Designed by Anderson Anderson Architecture + Nishiyama Architects, this Japanese home can be categorized as a green house design. Built with a very tight budget, this beautiful home is located in Shimasaki, Kyushu Island, Japan. This eco-friendly house is located in perfect setting with a spectacular view of Kumamoto Castle and green environment. The house measures approximately 1100 square feet area and the construction budget is only US$ 154.000. The B House is created with fabricated wood as house’s frame and concrete floors to produce thermal ballast for the whole rooms. Several sustainable system are added, such as natural, renewable and healthy materials to maximize the light from the sun, solar shading and natural ventilation; solar energy for heating the water; roof panels of solar thermal; rain harvesting system; and many more.
